Support

Overview


The support app enables users to define access control policies to allow or revoke access to Crystal Eye XDRs user interface for Red Piranha’s Technical support team to provide remote support.

Note

It is recommended to enable Remote Support only if the RP technical support team requests remote access to the CE XDR user interface. Ensure that this featured is disabled if not required.

Installation


The Support application is installed by default and can be accessed from the left-hand navigation panel.

Use the enable/disable button to allow or revoke UI access for Red Piranha’s Technical Support (see screenshot below)

Note

The Remote support app is disabled by default. Once you enable support the status section will display the message “Remote Support is Enabled” (see screenshot below). ce-xdr-enable-disable-support2
